Boat for Sale
I am selling my, beloved, Valley Rapier 18. This is a unique boat and it has taught me a lot but it is time to move on. You can see the spec on Valley's site by clicking here.
This one is an Ultra-Kevlar Layup, (carbon hull, kevlar deck), it weights approximately 35# (I have never put it on a scale). This was laid up in 2006 and has foam bulkheads. I have kept it indoors always and treated it very gingerly given the race layup. It has wear marks on the deck from the wing paddle and some gelcoat chips which I have matching gelcoat for but have not patched them as they do not leak. This boat has the Sea Dog pedals and Navigator rudder. The boat is in good to very good condition.
It is currently stored at Pier 66 in Manhattan where I am still paddling it regularly and can set up a test paddle for any seriously interested person. I am also willing to transport it, within reason, in the ny/nj/ct area.
